As an Accounting Clerk, you will work effectively with multiple departments to maintain smooth accounting workflows and provide visibility into the company's financial health. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential to succeed. The team you will be working with has a long tenure and values collaboration! So, what will you be doing as an Accounting Clerk? Processing and verifying vendor invoices against purchase orders to ensure accuracy of payments. Handling non-purchase order invoices by obtaining approvals, assigning general ledger coding, and processing payments. Performing monthly reporting and accruals for financial close. Investigating purchase order discrepancies, making corrections or closing purchase orders as needed. Processing customer deposits. Invoicing daily shipments. Preparing weekly reports on sales backlog and accounts receivable. To be successful in this role, you’ll need: 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar roles. General accounting knowledge including journal entries, trial balances, and financial statements. Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc).
