Job Title: Town Planner Pay: GBP20 per hour Contract Hours: 9:00:17:00 Location : Grimsby Main Duties include: Manage a caseload of planning applications from submission to recommendation, including conducting site visits, liaising with customers and preparing accurate and concise reports. Respond to pre: application enquiries in a timely manner. Support the Planning Policy team when required. Support the team in achieving contract performance targets. Provide excellent customer service to a wide variety of customers of the planning service. Undertake any other duties which may reasonably be expected at this level in supporting the delivery of the planning function. Key Skills: Experience of working within a Town Planning Environment A Town Planning Degree Excellent customer service and communication skills Knowledge of planning policy and legislation An ability to communicate effectively at all levels including report writing An understanding of the value of performance indicators An ability to prioritise workloads and perform to strict timetables An ability to adapt to major and frequent changes in daily work demands Driving licence Flexible to meet the needs of the service If you are interested in the role and believe this is something for you please click apply with CV below.
