Rio Alto Authentic Mexican Restaurant is a traditional Mexican cuisine restaurant located at 118 3 Ave SW, High River, AB T1V 1R3. We are looking for an experienced Baker to join with us. This is a full-time permanent position, and we are offering $17.00 per hour with a 40-hour work schedule per week. JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience and Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc. ): Three to four-year apprenticeship program for baker or other program for bakers or equivalent baker related work experience is required. Criminal check is required. Knowledge of food specialties such as making pastry dough (hojaldra, danesa and bizcocho) is an asset for this position. Responsibilities and duties: • Mixing, preparing and baking bread, pastries. • Opening the bakery every morning. • Arranging the display case in an appealing manner. • Ordering more supplies. • Crafting and creating new and exciting baked goods. • Ensuring all baked goods are completed on time for opening.
