• Location: 8330 82 avenue , bonnie doon mall suite 155Edmonton, ABT6C 4E3• Salary: $ 19.00 hourly / 35 to 40 hours per Week• Terms of employment: Permanent employment Full time• Start date: Starts as soon as possible• vacancies: 1 vacancy Overview Languages: English Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 yearinteractionperience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work setting• Cafeteria• Restaurant Responsibilities: Tasks: • Establish methods to meet work schedules• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies• Ensure food service and quality control• Address customers' complaints or concerns• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage• Prepare and submit reports• Establish work schedules• Keep records of the quantities of food used• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas• Place dishes in storage area• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs• Take customers' orders• Stock refrigerators and salad bars• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables• Package take-out food• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs• Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment• Portion and wrap foods Supervision: • 3-4 people Additional information: Work conditions and physical capabilities: • Fast-paced environment• Work under pressure• Tight deadlines• Combination of sitting, standing, walking• Standing for extended periods• Physically demanding• Repetitive tasks Personal suitability: • Client focus• Efficient interpersonal skills• Flexibility• Team player• Reliability Employment groups Help - Employment groups: This.
