Job title: Graphic Designer (NOC 52120)Job type: Full-time and Permanent Job location: Unit 210, 4503 Brisebois Dr NW, Calgary, ABSalary: $29/h, 30 hours per week Benefit: 4% Vacation Pay Duties and responsibilities: • Consult with manager and colleague to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials in order to meet their needs• Develop the graphic elements that best meet the business objectives• Coordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials• Managing the company social media accounts and prepare visual elements for daily postings• Managing the content of the website and update the website monthly • Plan, produce and edit videos for social media platforms • Design brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials Job Requirements: • Completion of a college diploma in graphic arts, social media management or other related fields. • 1 to 2 years’ experience in graphic design, social media management or other related experience. • Advanced knowledge and experience with Adobe illustrator, photoshop and MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and publisher). • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to visualize abstract ideas. • Able to work under minimal supervision. • Reliable, punctual with a strong work ethic.
