HGV Class 2 Driver/ Operatives Industry: Environmental Location: Isle of Wight Hours: 6am - 2pm Days: Monday - Friday Duration: Temporary to Permanent Duties: Working as part of a small team, collecting domestic waste and recycling, Vehicle checks and reporting faults and defects, Safely navigating residential roads, on specified routes and adherence to schedules, Collecting and replacing residential bins, Assisting in loading and operating machinery, when required, Adherence to health and safety, highways and driving regulations. Experience: Must have valid Class 2 (Category C) Drivers licence, CPD (Driver Qualification Card) and Tachograph (Driver Card). Must be able to work well as part of a team and be physically fit, due to nature of duties. Must have a good knowledge of the Island's road network. Must have own transport due to the location of the depot.
