Title: Retail Store Supervisor Employer: Wainwright Cannabis, 1111 10 Street, Wainwright, Alberta T9W 1E3 Wages: $20.84/hour Vacancies: 3 vacancies Joining: As soon as possible Employment type: Permanent employment, Full time35 hours /week Employment conditions: Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend Job requirements Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience1 year to less than 2 years Ability to Supervise 3-4 people Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods, Combination of sitting, standing, walking Work Location Information Willing to relocate Personal Suitability Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Client focus, Reliability, Organized, Excellent written communication, Team player, Accurate, Effective interpersonal skills Additional Skills Establish work schedules, Hire and train or arrange for training of staff Specific Skill• Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers• Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules• Authorize payments and the return of merchandise• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages• Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise• Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters• Hire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff and monitor and report on performance• Ensure the visual standards and image of the store are maintained, such as store displays, signage and cleanliness• May perform the same duties as workers supervised• May perform key holding and managerial duties if required, such as opening and closing the store, managing escalated complaints, developing and implementing marketing strategies, and signing for deliveries.
