As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager and enthusiastic experienced Production Operator – Stamping to join our successful Toronto team immediately. We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills in the manufacturing industry. SUMMARY: This position reports to the Supervisor of the department. The incumbent ensures both the correct set up and operation of their own equipment including the organization of tooling requirements to meet production demands within the Stamping department. This is a unionized position - Subject to backssment of skills and qualifications by Active following 60 working days. The pay rate is $21.83 Shifts may vary Shift Premium where applicable We have a Day shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm) and an Afternoon shift (3:15 pm - 11:45 pm) available ROLE: Performs the set up and tear down of Stamping equipment. Operates Stamping equipment to meet production demands. Conducts required quality checks to insure product is in compliance and in specification Notifies the Lead Hand and/or Supervisor(s) of product defects or other serious occurrences Documents and records all necessary information/data as per work cards and other company requirements Performs equipment operational checks and does basic troubleshooting Performs proper housekeeping, clean-up and 5 S requirements Performs all duties according to safety standards and company policies Any other responsibilities that may be assigned.
