Outdoor Learning Leader Youth Options is expanding, and we are looking for experienced team leaders with a passion for supporting children and young people, leading teams and delivering quality services to join our growing charity. As part of our new strategy aimed at supporting more children and young people to achieve a better future, Youth Options is recruiting a number of new team leader positions to help us succeed. The Role Youth Options has developed a reputation for delivering high-quality Outdoor Learning provision in the Eastleigh and Southampton areas. The aim of our provision is to engage, develop and empower children and young people to develop their social and emotional capabilities and improve their engagement with learning through nature-based activities. As an Outdoor Learning Leader, you will work as part of a team and individually to support, develop and engage children and young people to realise their abilities, aspirations and make a valuable contribution to their communities through horticulture and nature-based learning. For this role, we are looking for someone to lead the development and implementation of horticulture courses for children and young people, as well as lead the maintenance of growing areas at Youth Options Outdoor Learning Centre, New Park Farm and school sites. Contract Type: Permanent Location: Outdoor Learning Centre, Eastleigh Travel to schools required Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours or Part Time or Term Time Only Reports to: Team Leader - Outdoor Learning Starting Salary: £21,645— £22,035In addition to the horticulture role, you will be working across a number of projects that support young people in a variety of settings.
