Vacancy - Electrical Design Engineer Location: Normanton, West Yorkshire Salary: £38000 - £42000The Role: AQUMEN Recruitment is working with a market leader to hire an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their team based in Normanton, West Yorkshire. This permanent position will see join an existing team and work closely with the Lead Engineer and Manufacturing team to develop solutions to customer problems before translating them into high-quality electrical designs. Working across multiple different industry sectors, as an Electrical Design Engineer you will have the opportunity to take on a leading role in projects from the scoping stage, through design, manufacture and ultimatelyto customer handover. Our Client: Our client is a market leading company well known in it's field for a quality service and a quality product. They work with market leaders in multiple sectors and can produce bespoke products to the customer requirements or batch manufacturing for those larger orders. Key Duties: Support customers through all stages of the design, manufacture and post-sales stages of projects Interpret and translate customer requirements into high-quality, electrical designs optimised for performance and manufacture. Carry out peer reviews of colleagues designs prior to ensure rigorous quality standards are maintained. Develop PLC programmes to implement advanced control solutions for customers. Co-ordinate and plan on-site up-grades of control panels at customer sites. Support the identification and implementation of innovations and technology opportunities available in the sector to create market advantage. Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business, to enhance overall performance and increase customer satisfaction. The Candidate: The ideal Electrical Design Engineer will be a team player, capable of working to a high standard of quality and be a real problem solver.
