Job Title: Outreach Adviser Location: Homebased - Glasgow Regions Salary: £27,275 - Increasing to £31,059 following successful completion of a 6-month probation period Job type: 12 Month Fixed Term The Company: Migrant Help is a leading charity that has been established for over 50 years and delivers a range of support and advice services to migrants across the UK. The Candidate: The successful candidate will be client focused and an excellent listener, have demonstrable experience working with people in sensitive and emotionally demanding situations and be passionate about protecting our vulnerable clients. The post holder will support our national Asylum Services to support our most vulnerable asylum seekers across the UK through a mixture of telephone and face to face advice. You will primarily provide day to day support for clients and partners in need of Outreach, ensuring that compliance with Home Office standards is met. If you are an excellent communicator, have the ability to to diffuse difficult situations and provide conflict management without becoming personally involved and are looking for an exciting role within an ever-growing, fast paced team, we'd love to hear from you! The Role: We are currently looking for an Outreach Adviser to join our vibrant and committed Outreach team, on a Fixed Term contract. There will be a potential for the role to be made permanent or be extended. Duties and responsibilities: Assisting clients with applications for Asylum Support and Move on Services Signposting clients to specialised support where required To manage a caseload offering appropriate support in a designated timeframe Keep accurate and up-to-date case records, complete case follow ups within the requisite time scales and undertake any necessary administrative tasks Ensure that their work meets.
