About this opportunity As a Software Engineer on the Desktop Feature team, you'll play a key role in the future of Lloyds Banking Group Desktop product development - contributing to the way we design, build, test and deploy using cutting-edge technology. We’re a dynamic team of engineers with a passion for what we do and to help shape the future of how we interact with our customers. As part of one of our cross-disciplinary teams of engineers you'll use your knowledge and expertise in a variety of methodologies and toolsets to develop innovative end user solutions to meet customer needs within their home buying journey. Develop and adopt exciting new technologies and become an active member of Communities of Practice, Engineering guilds and working groups across the bank. Utilise new and innovative technologies whilst also harnessing and maintaining existing systems that are currently the engine room of our platform. What you’ll need Hands-on experience as a Software Engineer in Java Script (Node. js and React. js) RESTful APIs and microservices and other modern web technologies Exposure to full-stack experience and flexibility to work on front end or back-end tasks Experience building well tested applications that remain easy to maintain.
