Hales Group are recruiting a Retail Trade Account Manager to support our client in Southwold. In this role your primary objective is to leverage and capitalise on commercial opportunities arising from trade customers that align with their retail store offerings and working closely with their retail teams, forging a collaborative partnership to jointly identify and approach potential customers who can benefit from their products and services, as well as nurturing and expanding relationships with existing customers Key responsibilities Collaborate closely with Store Managers to cultivate and expand event opportunities, supporting them in identifying and capitalising on avenues for growth. Continuously monitor and analyse industry activities and trends, providing actionable insights and recommendations that contribute to the achievement of business objectives. Work collaboratively with local businesses to foster the development of trade accounts, establishing mutually beneficial partnerships that enhance market presence. Maintain a keen focus on achieving desirable profit results by optimising gross profits (GPs) and product mixes, ensuring sustainable financial success. Establish and nurture relationships with key customers, leveraging these connections to maximise growth and solidify the companys position in the market. Vigilantly monitor competitor activities, trends, and market dynamics, utilising this information to proactively inform strategies and stay ahead of industry shifts. Experience and skills Demonstrate a mastery of selling techniques, enabling you to effectively showcase product value propositions and foster positive customer relationships. Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, allowing you to convey information clearly, persuasively, and in a manner that resonates with stakeholders.
