Job Title: Rapid Response - Care Assistant Locations: Birmingham (up to 50 miles radius) Pay Rate: £12 flat rate and 0.30p per mile Shifts available: 12h to include days and nights Full UK driving license and own transport are essential requirements for this position, due to the requirements and location of the service users. Whether you're new to the care industry or have years of experience, we will provide training and support through our learning and development programme. Role We are looking for people who are happy to attend clients homes for the full normally 12 hour shift shift within a 50 mile radius within the Birmingham area, so it is essential that you are a driver with your own transport. You will be assigned to packages on a rota basis and some shifts where you will be on to cover any unstaffed packages. Previous care experience is not necessary, we are looking for people with the right values and attitude. You will work closely with the people's family, friends and professionals. Together you will enable people to live independently and achieve their ambitions. We support clients with a range of complex care conditions such as spinal cord injury, brain injury or cerebral palsy. Personal care is part of this role, which includes support with medication, toileting, bathing and support with feeding.
