A prestigious opportunity awaits a Senior Strategic Procurement Business Partner to join a dynamic team and play a pivotal role undertaking responsibilities as a procurement Business Partner. Key Responsibilities: As a Senior Strategic Procurement Business Partner, you will: Collaborate with various directorates to develop and execute procurement strategies and annual plans. Serve as the primary procurement advisor to the director and the Directorate Management Team. Manage end-to-end tendering exercises for strategic projects. Foster effective contract management practices within the directorate. Support the transition to e-tendering and e-contract documentation. Drive collaborative procurement initiatives both internally and externally. Contribute to training and upskilling of officers within the directorate. The ideal candidate experience will have a background in public sector procurement and have worked within Children's & Finance categories. This is an interim assignment expected to initially run through t December 2024 and pays a day rate of £300 a day inside IR35.
