Facilities Manager Location: Edinburgh Salary: A GBP 31,000 : A GBP 36,000 per annum FTE depending on experience Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Our client has a vacancy for a Facilities Manager, based in their award: winning Centre of Wellbeing building in Edinburgh. The Foundation works alongside people to help them achieve their full potential, and their Facilities Team and buildings are essential supports to create an inclusive welcome and support their many ambitious projects. You will have the opportunity make a real difference to peoples lives at the Foundation where no two days are the same. The Role This is an exciting opportunity to join the Foundation at a time when they are reviewing how to maximise the impact of their building for the communities they work with. You will provide coaching style management to the Facilities Team and be responsible for areas such as: Oversee maintenance for the buildings and grounds Manage Health and Safety for all the buildings and land, in conjunction with an external consultant Contract management and procurement and support overall corporate compliance Advise senior leadership team on building strategy and deliver building income generation strategy Manage their Community Hub spaces, helping create a safe and supportive environment for everyone Other duties, as appropriate to the role. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic team player, who has a willingness to learn and to support the Foundations team as well as everyone who uses their buildings.
