This role also involves assisting with the FCI report Quality Assurance process. Essential Criteria: Hold a recognised qualification in Forensic Collision Investigation at a minimum level 4 Certificate of Higher Education with experience as a Forensic Collision Investigator. Possess an appropriate qualification in forensic automotive engineering with current working knowledge of modern motor technology, equipment, and products. Full UK Driving License. Qualified to analyze data from sources such as CCTV and Digital Tachograph for collision reconstruction, with proven experience in doing so. Experience in maintaining and testing a wide range of electrical and mechanical systems. Strong communication skills with the ability to listen and adapt to various situations, individuals, groups, and communities. Ability to produce concise reports and present evidence in court and other hearings. Proficiency in standard IT packages, systems, and databases, including creating visual records for forensic investigations. Key Role Responsibilities: Uphold the Police Code of Ethics and ensure organisational values and behavioral expectations are followed. Analyse vehicle-borne data and conduct technical and mechanical examinations of various vehicle types under relevant legislation.
