General Summary of the Position The Campus Worship Director at Grace Lindale exists to carry out our Core Value of Worship at the Lindale Campus. This includes both the corporate and personal aspects of living a Romans 12:1 life of worshiping Jesus Christ. Your passion for leading others in worshiping Jesus Christ extends beyond corporate gatherings to encompass everyday lives. Collaborating with Lindale Staff, the Worship Team, and global worship and AV staff, you create transformative worship experiences.In this role, you excel at programming dynamic weekly services and leading music portions, ensuring authenticity and excellence. From executing Sunday morning worship to preparing slides with the Worship Department Coordinator, you prioritize every detail for a seamless experience. Your dedication to nurturing an all-volunteer worship team, spiritually and musically, builds a thriving worship community. Collaborating with the Grace AV Department, you enhance the worship environment further. Beyond outlined responsibilities, you eagerly facilitate "extra" worship services, engaging deeply with GCC Staff. With clear communication and organizational prowess, you ensure impactful and transformative worship experiences weekly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (following are accountabilities included but not limited to) Work with Lindale Campus Pastor, Lindale staff, Senior Worship Pastor, and Grace global worship staff to program, organize, and execute weekly worship services. Lead the music portion of the services and run weekly rehearsals. Work with the Worship Department Coordinator to prepare slides for Sunday morning worship services. Lead, recruit, and develop (musically & spiritually) an all-volunteer worship team for the Lindale Campus. Work with the Audio/Visual department on sound, lighting, projection, & stage design. Collaborate with Grace staff, both Lindale and global, beyond what is required. Facilitate extra worship services as needed. (e.g. Christmas Eve, Good Friday...etc.) Communicate well and be timely and organized with weekly responsibilities. Align with the theological doctrine and core beliefs of Grace Community Church. Skills and Abilities: Sing in-tune and with appropriate style. Play guitar or piano with proficiency. Program, read, and arrange music. Lead rehearsals of instrumentalists and vocalists. Train musicianship into band members as needed. Be willing to learn new musical styles. Be willing to write original material in a collaborative environment. Education, Training, Experience: College degree preferred. 3 years experience of leading worship. Familiar with Planning Center Online, ProPresenter, Google Driveetc. Work or Ministry Team Context: This position is attached to the Lindale Campus Pastor and Sr. Worship Pastor. It is based out of the Lindale Office of Grace Community Church and expected on-site at the Lindale Campus on Sunday mornings.
