We also work to promote and optimize Nova Scotia energy resources in an international landscape. About Our Opportunity The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, managing, and evaluating business development opportunities that build economic, social, and environmental value to the Province arising from the development of Nova Scotia's onshore and offshore energy resources. Primary Accountabilities Reporting to the Manager, Business Investment and Export Development, the Business Development Executive will identify, develop, and implement strategies for direct and indirect business development, identify potential investment attraction opportunities, and devise methods for attracting investment to the Province from external markets, including international ones that align the province’s energy sector capabilities and capacity with industry demand on an internationally competitive basis to ensure Nova Scotia can compete effectively on major onshore and offshore energy projects locally, nationally, and internationally. The Business Development Executive is responsible for remaining aware of current trends in energy research, development, and commercialization (RD&C), as well as market trends in technology applications.
