Job Position: For Fall Term (September 2023 to April 2024) Job Summary: The role is to learn and work on process design and improvements in an automotive manufacturing environment to increase productivity and improve workflow. Required Education and Experience: Currently enrolled with a University/College pursuing a degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong facilitation skills Advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project, Outlook) knowledge Knowledge in CAD : 3D Models, Drawings and GD&Ts an asset Essential Functions: Consistently develop, backss and implement continuous improvement projects in relation to current or future project planning. Improve efficiency of processes through lean manufacturing tools. Analyse data and identify root causes of defects.
