The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal counsel to clients, conducting various legal proceedings, and managing cases efficiently. They must possess strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, along with a commitment to delivering excellent client service and growing the firm's practice.Duties:Meet with clients to assess and counsel them on their legal needsConduct depositions, hearings, and trialsDraft all necessary legal documents accurately and promptlyDevelop strategies for resolving conflicts, issues, or approaches to casesConduct legal research and interview clients or witnesses as neededInterpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businessesCollaborate with colleagues specializing in specific areas for optimal client outcomesDelegate work to staff and work effectively within a team environmentCommit to daily time entry into the firm's time and billing software (TABS3)Requirements:Admitted to and active member of the Washington State Bar AssociationPassed the Washington State Bar ExamMinimum 4 years of experience in civil litigationExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skillsDemonstrated record of excellent client serviceDetail-oriented with the ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet critical deadlinesKeen analytical skills with problem-solving abilitiesCommitment to developing a book of business and utilizing the firm's marketing toolsExperience with PracticeMaster/TABS is a plusProficient in Office SuiteGeneral technology competence is expected for troubleshooting standard issuesEducation/Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the Washington State Bar AssociationBenefits Offered: The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), medical/dental/vision/life insurance, and more.
