This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.Duties:Independently manage cases through the litigation process, working collaboratively with the case team.Conduct thorough fact investigations to gather evidence and build a strong defense.Handle document productions and assist with various discovery tasks.Prepare witnesses for deposition, ensuring they are well-prepared to testify effectively.Take and defend depositions, representing the firm's clients during the legal process.Review, summarize, and analyze medical records to identify key information for cases.Assist with juror research to aid in jury selection and case strategy.Prepare for court hearings, ensuring all necessary documentation and arguments are organized.Contribute to trial preparation and attend trials to represent the firm's clients effectively.Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience in all phases of litigation defense.Exceptional attention to detail and a strong work ethic.Active licensure in both Missouri and Illinois.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Strong advocacy skills to represent clients effectively in court.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active bar admission in both Missouri and Illinois.Skills:Legal research and analysis.Case management and litigation strategy.Witness preparation and deposition skills.Strong communication and negotiation abilities.Proficiency in reviewing and summarizing medical records.Courtroom presence and trial preparation.Benefits offered:401K matching.Free medical, dental, and vision insurance options for eligible employees.
