My client, an established Engineering & Manufacturing business are currently looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer My client, an established Engineering & Manufacturing business are currently looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to undertake Electrical & Mechanical maintenance on a range of specialist equipment, including Furnaces, injection moulding presses and shotblasting equipment. This is a days-based role working Monday to Friday 07:30am – 16.03pm Mon-Thu & 07.30am – 12.30pm Fri Key Responsibilities: Maintenance, service and repair of all electrical and mechanical equipment on site, including electrical control panels, 3 phase electrics, control circuits, wax presses, shell room and furnace equipment Assist manufacturing/production team in achieving targets and optimising machine run times Prioritise maintenance requests and carry out planned, preventative maintenance effectively Understand and support plant improvement projects Liaise with contractors on site Support the training and development of apprentices Practice all safety and compliance requirements and encourage others to do so Experience Requirements: The successful candidate will be a time-served engineer with an electrical bias and excellent mechanical maintenance capabilities Ideally you will be qualified to a minimum HNC standard and can demonstrate a good knowledge of 415V electrical skills Mechanical and Electrical fault-finding and repair skills Welding / Fabrication skills would be desirable PAT testing experience/qualification Experience of working in an Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing environment.
