Graduating High School Seniors who haven't yet decided on their future College students looking for a great Summer job between semesters Those who have realized they pursued the wrong career path and are looking for a change of pace Those who haven't quite figured out where they want to go next in life Teachers looking for an exciting Summer job Retired military Those looking to get into the outdoor recreation field Ski resort employees looking for off-season full-time work What We're Looking For An outgoing personality and a desire to get to know our awesome guests A passion for and a desire to share the awe and beauty of our mountains, trees, plants, and history of the area Dedication to World Class customer service Unfailing responsibility for safety standards Physical ability with reasonable strength (you must weigh between 70 and 250 lbs.) Good health habits that support physical ability are important. Doing multiple tours in a day can be tiring and you need to be able to stay on your feet and active all day. Willingness to work entirely outdoors in all weather conditions including hot, cold, and rain A growth mindset and the willingness to learn to be proficient in every area of the park The minimum age is 18 at the start of training Must pass a background check and MV check All new hires are required to attend and pass training before employment, regardless of prior experience. Scheduling Must be available at least five days per week Must be prepared to work long hours as needed Must be willing to work weekends and holidays. The park is open 7 days a week except for Christmas Day. The park is often open 12+ hours per day during busy times. You could be required to show up to work as early as 7:30 AM and leave as late as 8 PM. One week of Summer vacation is allowed during non-holiday weeks/weekends College students and seasonal guides need to be able to commit to work from Summer training through Labor Day weekend or college start date Local residents have the potential for full-time, year-round employment Summer positions are available for June, July, and August with another training session taking place in early June About The Job During training, all team members will be taught skills to facilitate the Zipline Canopy Tours, the Adventure Course, the Giant Mountain Swing, The Dual-Tree Climbs, and customer service/office training. UTV Guide training is optional for those who are interested. Our pay scale is transparent and defines a clear path for advancement and pay raises based on tenure, proficiency, and willingness to learn and become proficient in multiple areas of the operation. All employees are given equal opportunity to become part of the management team. Training Training will take place May 28-31, and June 3-5, 2024 (we break for the weekend). Employment is contingent on completing and passing the training. You must be present for the entirety of the training with no exceptions . CPR and 1st Aid Certifications are included in the training.
