Practice Area: Litigation - Commercial, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, A law firm in Dallas is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with hands-on courtroom and/or deposition experience, along with strong academic credentials. The candidate must be admitted and in good standing with a State Bar. This position offers an opportunity to work on complex commercial litigation matters in a dynamic legal environment. Duties:Handle all aspects of complex commercial litigation cases.Conduct legal research and analysis.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests and responses.Prepare for and participate in courtroom proceedings, including hearings, trials, and arbitrations.Manage client relationships and communicate with clients regarding case developments.Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and management.Assist with settlement negotiations and mediation efforts.Stay current with legal developments and industry trends related to commercial litigation. Requirements:2+ years of experience in complex commercial litigation.Hands-on courtroom and/or deposition experience.Strong academic credentials.Admission to and in good standing with a State Bar. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to and in good standing with a State Bar. Skills:Hands-on courtroom and/or deposition experience.Strong legal research and writing skills.Excellent oral advocacy skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
