The Head Housekeeper provides immediate supervision of all housekeeping staff and is responsible for daily cleaning and replenishing of supplies to resident rooms , bathrooms, offices, and other areas of the facility, as assigned , in accordance with standard cleaning procedures . Essential Functions 1. Cleans bathrooms, resident rooms , offices and other areas of the facility as directed . Monitors daily collection of laundry. Assists with laundry tasks. 2. Replenishes supplies to bathrooms and other areas as needed. 3. Moves furniture such as tables and chairs and cleans appropriately. 4. Maintains all cleaning equipment in a neat , clean and orderly fashion as measured by routine inspection . 5. Monitors , Responds and Complies with fire and safety systems and rules . 6. Complies with all OSHA regulations such as proper use and storage of chemicals 7. Ensures protection of confidential information that is stored, handled , or maintained by following Company policies and procedures related to confidentiality and/or HIPAA regulations . 8. Other Duties as assigned . Requirements . Physical Work requires light physical exertion (30 to 50 pounds ) on a continuous basis (over 50% of the time ); or moderate physical exertion (30 to 50 pounds) on a frequent basis ( 16 to 50% of time ); or heavy physical exertion on an occasional basis (up to 15 % of time) . Essential Environmental Conditions Work involves continuous exposure to unpleasant working conditions or undesirable elements which may involve exposure to a variety of elements which are potentially hazardous or harmful which require exercise of well defined precautions for protection from injury or illness . Essential Job Knowledge Work requires no specific knowledge other than the ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and to perform simple tasks .
