JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition Title:Inventory Assistant Department:AccountingLocation:Greeley, CO Value Added PlantSalary Class:Salary Non-Exempt Purpose & Scope: Our Company is in search of an experiencedSupply Clerk who will be responsible forpurchasing and distributing supplies for the whole Greeley Value Added facility. The mission of the supply clerk is to attain his/her work safely and ergonomically with the highest level of quality; being consistent and efficient. Assist with inventory, maintenance, counter, receiving, etc. Principle Responsibilities: Accurately and promptly input inventory adjustments to SAP for vendor received materials/parts and plant-to-plant transfers.Compile received invoices and packing lists with daily Receipt Evaluation Report.Reconcile vendor invoice discrepancies and work with accounting, Accounts Payable, and vendors to resolve any problems.Work through Goods Received/Invoice Received problems to resolution.Deliveries will require handling using any of the following: hand trucks, pallet jack, and fork lift.Receiving supplies into store room as they are brought inDistributing supplies to individuals that are coming in for suppliesPerform cycle counts and audits as needed to maintain inventory accuracyVerify physical counts of inventory identifying variances from previous dayAssist in maintaining chemical inventoryOther duties assignedQualifications:Excellent verbal and written communicationCustomer service and people skillsDetailed oriented and high level of accuracyOrganized and process drivenProactive/Self-Starter Punctual/DependableFlexibility Requirements:Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalency required, Bachelor's degree preferred.Experience: 2-3 years of experience in positions of accounting / inventory or similarBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredWorking Conditions: General office environment but prepared to go onto the production floor Production and maintenance settingsAble to work in a fast paced environment with proficient accuracy, some heavy lifting; working with many cultures of people.Schedule M-F and Saturday when needed. Overtime eligible.The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule; Base salary range of $22.00 The Company is dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our team members and visitors.
