TO APPLY: Email cover letter and resume to XXXX@mucc.org. 9 Weeks (June to August 2024) $720/week Meals and housing provided The Michigan Out-of-Doors youth camp is a seven-week program hosted out of the Cedar Lake Outdoor Center in Chelsea, Michigan. Our goal is to connect our youth with their natural resources through environmental/ conservation sciences, outdoor recreation and sportsman's/women's heritage. This role is great resume builder for anyone interested in a natural resources/conservation related career. Responsibilities: Reports to Kitchen Manager and other staff to meet all nutritional dietary needs assist in preparing each meal for 50 campers and staff wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes after each meal stock kitchen with all food and equipment throughout the season run the camp store and document campers payments post weekly menus Requirements: 18 or older experience as a cook or assistant cook for large groups (preferred) CPR/First Aid Certified knowledge of standards of food preparation, serving and kitchen procedures ability to work well with others TO APPLY: Email cover letter and resume to XXXX@mucc.org. Reports to the Kitchen Manager and must work with all staff to meet nutritional needs. Responsibilities include table setting, meal preparation, dish-washing and various tasks delegated by the kitchen manager and camp director. Must also be available to manage our camp store for one hour each day. Basic math and customer service skills required.
