Class Schedule : L0101 - Thursday 18:00-21:00 Sessional dates of appointment : January 1, 2024 to April 30, 2024 Estimate of the course enrolment : Approximately 20 students Salary: Sessional Lecturer I - $9,457.90; Sessional Lecturer I Long Term - $9,930.79; Sessional Lecturer II - $10,121.77; Sessional Lecturer II Long Term - $10,326.62; Sessional Lecturer III - $10,362.76; Sessional Lecturer III Long Term - $10,570.02 (inclusive of vacation pay) Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail. Minimum Qualifications: M. Arch degree or other Graduate degree in Architecture preferred. Preferred Qualifications: We are seeking applicants with a proven record of teaching foundation design studios at the M. Arch and/or B. A/B. Arch level. Knowledge of contemporary architectural pedagogy and the current state of the discipline, at both practical and theoretical levels, is highly desirable. Description of Duties : P reparation and delivery of course material; managing digital teaching materials, supervision of teaching assistants; preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations, and deferred final examinations; marking of student work, submission of grades, dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions, and student contact hours.
