Starting Hourly Pay $16.50 - $17.50 based on experience and qualifications + Excellent Benefits, PTO, Great Hours (Work/Life balance) Opportunity: The Retail Sales/Warehouse Associate at LL Flooring is responsible for supporting the store manager and the assistant managers with daily sales, store operations, and general care of the store and warehouse. This early career opportunity focuses on assisting the team to achieve or exceed the stores' sales goals, and all general warehouse duties. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Collaborate with the team to foster an inclusive and respectful store culture where associates adhere to the highest standards of customer service. Focus on driving sales by embracing all elements of the Company sales processes, and support of complementary businesses (i.e. Credit, Delivery, Pro Sales and Installations). Demonstrate excellent product knowledge and understanding of operating processes. Update notes in the SAP system (pick-up, follow-up, comments, issues, etc.) Achieve personal and overall store sale goals and profitability goals as well as operational metrics. Assisting with the upkeep of the showroom and warehouse Operates forklift in a safe manner for material handling (training provided) Stacks pallets of product in an organized and safe manner Tracks all inventory - shipped and received merchandise Complies with OSHA requirements Loads merchandise in customer vehicles and/or on Company delivery truck accurately Helps maintain a clean, neat, and well organized warehouse as well as other areas of the store Adheres to all warehouse product banding requirements, safety standards, policies Protects company facilities, assets, merchandise and equipment from loss and/or damage Accurate and timely receiving of merchandise shipments Preparation of outbound shipments and deliveries What you need to succeed: A passion for customer service and a desire to grow within our company Customer facing experience within sales, retail, hospitality etc. A High School degree, GED or equivalent An interest in home improvement and influencing flooring design choices Comfortable with technology, Microsoft office products and basic computer skills Engaging communication skills and a conversation starter The ability to occasionally lift heavy boxes Willingness to learn and operate a forklift - all training will be provided Willingness to work independently and in a team setting Ability to work overtime and extended hours upon request Our commitment to you: A structured career path providing you with career advancement opportunities that come with bonus plans * An upbeat, positive culture ( "Click" to see our day in the life video here.)
