The Associate Attorney will be responsible for utilizing their legal knowledge and experience to facilitate the foreclosure process, including the preparation, review, and approval of foreclosure-related pleadings. This role involves handling all aspects of foreclosure matters, including contested foreclosures, participating in mediations, depositions, telephonic hearings, and in-person hearings, as well as maintaining regular client meetings/updates. The ideal candidate should hold a Juris Doctorate, be dually barred in DC/MD, and be willing to travel routinely for court attendances within the state of Maryland.Job Duties:Manage foreclosure matters for the firm's clients.Utilize legal expertise to navigate and facilitate the foreclosure process.Prepare, review, and approve foreclosure-related pleadings.Handle all aspects of foreclosure cases, including contested foreclosures.Participate in mediations, depositions, telephonic hearings, and in-person hearings.Maintain regular client meetings and provide updates as needed.Undertake other duties and special projects as assigned.Requirements:Juris Doctorate degree.Dually barred in DC/MD and in good standing.Willingness to travel routinely for court attendances within the state of Maryland.Effective communication skills, including via client systems, email, and phone.Commitment to providing exceptional client service.Education:Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Dually barred in DC/MD and in good standing.Skills:Legal knowledge and expertise in foreclosure matters.Legal document preparation and review.Strong communication skills (client interactions, email, phone).Ability to handle contested foreclosure cases.Proficiency in mediation, depositions, and hearings.Exceptional client service orientation.
