Skilled Construction Worker - Playground Installation

We Train! Join our team at Premier Outdoor Installations, a leading playground installation company dedicated to creating safe, innovative, and exciting play spaces for communities. We specialize in designing and constructing playgrounds that inspire creativity, promote physical activity, and foster social interaction for children of all ages. Responsibilities: --- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as survey equipment, jackhammers, and forklifts as needed --- Dismantle old structures, and build temporary structures such as signs, cones, barricades, ramps, and other devices to control traffic around the construction site --- Carry, load, and unload tools and building materials such as sheetrock, saws, lumber, tile, grout, etc. --- Adhere to all directions from the construction manager, and work with other team members to complete construction projects accurately --- Support craft workers (painters, electricians, carpenters, roofers, plasterers), sub-contractors, and other tradesmen as needed --- Assist in the preparation of playground sites, including excavation, grading, and drainage --- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate installation of playground equipment --- Safely and efficiently assemble, install, and anchor playground structures, swings, slides, and other components according to manufacturer guidelines --- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure quality and timely completion of projects --- Operate construction equipment and tools, such as drills, saws, and compactors, in a safe and effective manner --- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure safety and functionality --- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of materials and debris Qualifications: --- Strong depth perception, good eye-hand coordination, and mechanical skills are helpful --- Comfortable working in inclement weather, like extreme temperatures, rain, etc. --- Possess a valid drivers license --- Past construction experience, knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment and the ability to understand blueprints and construction plans are required --- Need to be OSHA 10 certified --- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or a related field --- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, tools, and materials --- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications --- Experience operating construction equipment and machinery preferred --- Excellent communication and teamwork skills --- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety --- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation About Company: At Premier Outdoor Installations, Inc., we are committed to upholding the very highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service.
