Overview: *All positions are located in Fresno/Clovis CA* Up to $10k sign-on bonus available for candidates meeting specialty experience requirements We are looking for RNs to join our Cardiovascular ICU team! Growth. Responsibilities: In this nine-bed unit, you will have an RN-to-patient ratio of 1:2. Depending on the acuity of the patient, we often provide 1:1 care. You will be working closely with all multidisciplinary team members ranging from the physician, advanced practice professionals & Clinical Nurse Specialist, to respiratory therapy, physical therapy, case management, and pharmacy. You play an essential role in integrating this multidisciplinary approach into your patient's care plan. In your role, you will: Collect and analyze comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or the situation to determine the diagnosis. Develop, implement, and coordinate a plan in a timely manner that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes in a safe environment. Provide appropriate health education to patients and others as appropriate. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes which systematically enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and patient Safety. Attain knowledge and competencies that reflect current nursing practice and evaluate own nursing practice in -relation to professional practice standards and guidelines. Interact with and contribute to the professional development of peers and colleagues and provide leadership in the professional practice setting. Integrate research findings into practice.
