We're looking for a courteous, detail-oriented maintenance engineer to provide our guests with a five-star experience. You'll be in charge of overseeing the property’s overall upkeep and carrying out routine processes to make it fully functioning, pleasurable, and safe. Candidates for this position must be active, imaginative, and consistent in their commitment to assist our guests. If this describes you, we'd want to hear from you. Responsibilities: • Keep an open line of communication with other team members and staff• Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly• Manage the hotel's machinery and preventive maintenance procedures• React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts• Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment Qualifications: • You will need 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance role• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary• Experience with facilities management software is preferred• Driver’s license and clean driving record is mandatory• Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent GED About Company: Our hotel is 10 minutes from San Antonio International Airport via free shuttle. We're within a mile of local shops, dining, and entertainment venues. Highway 281 puts us 12 miles north of downtown San Antonio, passing by the San Antonio Zoo, DoSeum, and Botanical Garden along the way.
