Job details• Location: 4060 Williams, Richmond, BC V7E 1J8 • Salary: 23.00 hourly / 40 hours per Week • Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time • Day, Early Morning, Morning • Start date: Starts as soon as possible. • Vacancies: 1 vacancy Overview Languages English Education• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience1 year to less than 2 years Responsibilities Tasks• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse • Empty trash cans and other waste containers • Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment • Perform minor repairs on appliances • Perform safety and security checks • Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair • Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures • Work with minimal supervision • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities• Work under pressure • Repetitive tasks • Handling heavy loads • Physically demanding • Bending, crouching, kneeling Weight handling• Up to 45 kg (100 lbs) Personal suitability• Dependability • Flexibility • Initiative • Judgement • Organized • Reliability Employment groups Help - Employment groups This employer promotes equal employment opportunities for all job applicants, including those self-identifying as a member of these groups: Newcomers to Canada, Visible minorities, Youth Who can apply to this job?
