Cascadia Metals is seeking qualified candidates for the Crane/Forklift Operator position to work out of our Delta branch. Responsibilities: Loading trucks from small customer pick-ups to full B-train trailers Unload rail cars and containers Operate a forklift to move material within the warehouse and yard Organizing and sorting material for loading and space optimization Reading paperwork to ensure the accuracy of the load Double-checking loads for accuracy Requirements: Forklift experience mandatory Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to lift 50 lbs.
