If so, we want you on our Parks Services Team! As the successful candidate, you will provide oversight to the Visitor Services Team in the delivery of a wide range of programs and services for individuals of all abilities throughout the community that promote active lifestyles and social wellbeing. This position ensures a positive parks experience for visitors, volunteers and the community through development of community partnership opportunities and the provision of outdoor experiences and activities that meet the highest standards of public service and stewardship in protecting the natural environment. In your role, you will: Align Visitor Services programming with Corporate and Departmental Strategic Plans: Provide day-to-day supervision and direction to employees involved in the operational aspects of visitor services programing to ensure a high-quality public experience. Facilitate visitor services and programs by working closely and proactively with other RDCO functions, partners, special interest groups and stakeholders. Oversee and develop contracts to ensure services are efficient and cost-effective. Coordinate resources to ensure programs are developed and delivered effectively and in accordance with the plan. Promote and advance the development & delivery of programs and services that increase opportunities for individuals with disabilities and or financial barriers to access parks. Educate the public and ensures public enquiries are resolved completely in all matters: Support staff to respond to public enquiries, complaints, and service concerns in a courteous and timely manner. Advise on the interpretation and application of the Regional and Community Parks Regulatory Bylaws. Undertake general administration associated with Visitor Services: Provide.
