About the Role: As a Senior SQA engineer, Vista Quality, you will be mainly responsible for our supply base in North America, interfacing with suppliers and cross-functional team members to meet the goals of the Vista Manufacturing organization. As required you will need to communicate with suppliers based outside of North America as well and drive improvement there. You will work closely with manufacturing sites in North America to ensure Vista suppliers provide materials that conform to requirements and specifications to enable fast & efficient product launches and ongoing production without interruption. On the front lines of manufacturing support, you will lead the deep-dive investigation into supplier quality issues, drive preventive recurrence actions, and support read-across lessons learned to applicable products and processes. Within this role, you will strive to promote excellence in the ‘Supplier Product Quality Approach’ in close collaboration with the manufacturing group. This role focusses on qualification of supplier and material and includes all process steps necessary to ensure smooth integration of new material into production (i. e. supplier qualification backssments to verify capabilities) and management of material qualification processes. What You Will Do: Drive resolution of escalated supplier quality issues from manufacturing teams, working closely with suppliers to implement closed-loop corrective actions Conduct supplier site backssment audits to mitigate quality risks, to drive continuous improvement initiatives and to verify corrective and preventive actions.
