Position: Tanker Driver Primary Location: Thorold, ON, Canada Shift: Full time Reports: Regional Driver Manager Hourly Rate: $27.00 CAD per hour plus benefits The Canadian hourly rate for this position is $27.00 + benefits. Hourly rates are determined by role, level, and location. The hourly rate displayed on each job posting reflects the starting rate for new hires for the position. Rates may also be determined by work location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. More specific rate factors for your preferred location can be discussed during the hiring process, as some facilities are subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements. About the Position and About You Our Drivers play an integral part in the transportation of bulk liquid commodities and hazardous materials. You will be the face of our company by representing a culture of safety, creating a positive experience and developing longstanding relationships with our customers. Team based culture and safety orientated. Qualifications Knowledge Minimum two (5) years of tractor/tanker experience Minimum one (2) year of tanker experience Must have a valid commercial Driver's License, CDL Class A, with appropriate hazmat and tanker endorsements TWIC Pass is a must A clean driving record for past three (3) years Be physically qualified to drive a motor vehicle and provide valid medical card Be able to provide proof of experience or training to safely operate the type of motor vehicle used by Chemtrade Competencies Must possess excellent customer service skills, verbal and written communication skills Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision, be highly motivated, energetic, and enjoy.
