Do you love transforming spaces into spotlessly clean sanctuaries? We’re hiring a professional housekeeper to help us ensure our hotel guests have a wonderful stay with us. You’ll perform basic cleaning duties like making beds, washing sheets, mopping, dusting, and ironing; you’ll also restock supplies and make sure restrooms and common areas are clean and orderly. Job seekers should be personable, organized, and enjoy working on a team. Responsibilities: • Reply to general questions guests have during their stay• Clean and arrange hotel rooms in accordance with our hotel’s standards prior to guest arrival• Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed• Keep common spaces such as the lobby, hallways, and restrooms clean and stocked with supplies• Make beds, strip sheets, stock rooms with toiletries, do laundry, vacuum, mop, and perform other cleaning duties as needed Qualifications: • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products• Graduated high school, received G.E.D or equivalent• Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills• Over 1 year as a professional housekeeper strongly desired Compensation: $16 - $18 hourly About Company: Located on the coastline of Hilo Bay, the Grand Naniloa Hilo, a DoubleTree by Hilton is 30 mi from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. All rooms have free WiFi. Guest rooms offer garden, ocean, or harbor views of Hilo Bay, Hamakua Coast, or Hilo Harbor. Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV and a refrigerator, and bathrooms are finished with German limestone. Suites boast a kitchenette. The Grand Naniloa Hilo, a DoubleTree by Hilton features an outdoor swimming pool and sundeck.
