CNC Turner Ashton-under-Lyne Day shift or nights available Mon-Thurs 08:00-16:30 Fri 08:00-13:00Mon-Thurs 18:00-06:00 Overtime available CNC Turner Benefits Company pension with a total weekly contribution of 8 5 employee, 3 employer, and we also have a bonus system based around Health and Safety that pays £250 every 6 months for those who have qualified. CNC Turner The Role You will be expected to achieve high standards of quality, in line with targeted levels of output whilst working safely and maintaining full product traceability. You will be working as part of a team and you are expected to contribute to improving any working processes. You will be on CNC Turner or CNC Vertical Borers. CNC Turner Main Responsibilities Programme, set up tools and load materials onto CNC machine. Programme Fanuc control systems Use CAD/CAM and Cimco Carry out machining. To measure components produced on machines and use inspection equipment to ensure that components are manufactured to drawing dimensions and measurements Read, interpret and work from engineering drawings. Contribute in a team working environment. Contribute to continuous improvement Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Complete quality documentation. Use computer equipment for data purposes. Work to lean theory. Observe and practice the 5S principles. CNC Turner The Candidate Experience in CNC Turning or CNC Vetical Borer Be proficient at programming, set up, operation and adjustment of tool and fixture offsets on CNC machine tools Desirable to be a time served engineer or have an equivalent qualification but experience is fine.
