Job Overview:The Corporate Counsel will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating principal and ancillary supply, purchase, service, transportation, and related agreements for commercial transactions. They will be involved in a wide variety of corporate and commercial projects and will have extensive client contact, providing pragmatic counsel. The ideal candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication ability, a willingness to ask questions and learn, and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment. Duties:Review, draft, and negotiate principal and ancillary supply, purchase, service, transportation, and related agreementsParticipate in a wide variety of corporate and commercial projectsProvide pragmatic counsel to clientsEngage in extensive client contactCollaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented environment Requirements:7+ years of corporate transactional experience preferredBusiness background and ability to grasp business concepts quicklyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong negotiation skillsMA experience is welcome Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Admission to the State Bar in the relevant jurisdiction Skills:Proficiency in corporate transactional lawAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to provide practical legal adviceExcellent interpersonal skills Benefits:Competitive compensation packageFull benefits package Join one of the fastest growing law firms in the Southeast.
