Job Summary Now, if you were to come on board as one of our HR Generalists, we’d ask you to do the following for us: Respond to telephone and email inquiries from all Associates regarding employee relations matters by: Interpreting and explaining company policies, procedures, practices, and programs. Advising and assisting managers, supervisors, associates on the interpretation and application of the provincial employment legislations. Providing guidance to managers in handling employee relations issues and in resolving complaints or disputes. Investigate issues, provide resolution, or escalate to field HR on the following: Complaints about working conditions Disciplinary actions Alleged wrongful terminations Discrimination allegations, or other HR related matters. Perform administrative tasks, such as preparing offers, disciplines, layoffs and other letters/memos as required by operations.
