We provide laboratory testing services that help healthcare providers diagnose, treat, monitor and prevent disease in patients. Life Labs is currently looking for a Medical Lab Assistant to join our team in Thunder Bay, ON (1040 Oliver Road). As a Medical Lab Assistant you will play a key role in the testing and diagnostic process for a wide range of patients. Life Labs also provides first aid training, continuing education opportunities, and excellent opportunities for career growth and advancement. This is a part-time role (up to 20 hours per week) with shifts that vary between 8am-7pm Monday to Friday. Rotation of morning/mid/evening shifts. Candidates MUST be available to work on Saturdays. In this role you will: Unpack and sort a wide variety of incoming specimens received from sources including physicians, clinics, hospitals, and mobile Life Labs technicians.
