We are looking for a Life Insurance Agent with amazing customer service skills to join our fast-growing insurance agency and help our clients achieve their financial goals. You’ll serve on the front lines of insurance sales, helping new customers navigate our products, processing claims and inquiries, and developing an ever-growing lead list to secure new business. Responsibilities: • Address existing and prospective customer requests in a prompt and friendly matter, including booking new meetings and responding to inquiries regarding billing, eligibility, coverage, claims, and insurance policies• Manage electronic and paper records and ensure all contracting paperwork is kept current• Assist current policyholders during the insurance claims process while overseeing existing insurance claims• Determine new customers’ insurance needs, desires, insurance risk, prior coverage, and financial standing via booked consultations to ensure the best client experience possible• Develop a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other marketing strategies to secure new business Qualifications: • Active Life & Health insurance license is a strong bonus• Customer service or experience as a sales representative are highly valued• Skilled with Microsoft Office• Prior health insurance or life insurance experience a bonus• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred Compensation: $81,000 - $110,500 yearly About Company: New York Life is a Fortune 100 company with a long history of doing good.
