Here are some key accountabilities of the role: This position supports the Finance Leadership and Merchandise Planning & Analysis teams by performing research, conducting, and providing results of complex financial analysis relating to all aspects of Gross Margin and Inventory for TJX Canada (Winners, Home Sense and Marshalls). Creates & maintains annual and long-range plans for Inventory and Gross Margin. Creates monthly Gross Margin and Inventory forecasts, including in-depth analysis to interpret, identify risks and opportunities. Partners with MP&A to understand and quantify risks associated with the company’s Open-To-Buy position. Performs regular and ad hoc data analysis to create and produce reports to support business needs. Partners with various project leads to provide financial analysis, scenario planning, evaluate business initiatives, and quantify impacts.
