Duration: June 1st to 16-18 weeks (with potential for transition to full-time) Location: Remote or Whitefish, Montana Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced JavaScript developer to fill a part-time position while one of our team members is on maternity leave. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing Single Page Applications (SPAs) with Vue 3 and Nuxt 3. They should possess at least 3 years of experience in JavaScript development and demonstrate proficiency in Vue.js (Vue 3 / Nuxt 3). Additionally, expertise in CSS development is essential for this role. Experience in translating meticulous designs from Figma into well-built websites is also required. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Single Page Applications (SPAs) using Vue 3 and Nuxt 3, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions. Translate detailed Figma designs into polished, responsive, user-friendly web interfaces. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement designs accurately and efficiently. Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum of 3 years of experience in JavaScript development. Proficiency in Vue 3 and Nuxt 3, with practical experience building SPAs. Strong understanding of CSS and its preprocessors (e.g., Sass, Less). Experience with headless e-commerce platforms, particularly BigCommerce, is a plus. Familiarity with Contentstack or similar Content Management Systems (CMS) is advantageous. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Flexibility to work remotely or in our Whitefish, Montana office. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React.js or Angular is a plus. Knowledge of headless CMS architectures and implementations.
