Practice Area: Litigation - Commercial, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, A law firm in Mandeville, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney or Of Counsel with 2-10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have a federal clerkship background, distinguished academic performance, superior writing and analytical capabilities, and preferably experience in Electronic Discovery and federal court writing. Meaningful involvement in ongoing litigation cases on a national scale is also desirable. A valid law license is mandatory for this position. Duties:Handle complex commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution.Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues related to ongoing litigation cases.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents for federal court proceedings.Participate in all phases of discovery, including Electronic Discovery processes.Collaborate with partners, senior attorneys, and clients to develop case strategies and objectives.Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution proceedings.Manage case files, including organizing and maintaining documentation.Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents relevant to litigation practice. Requirements:2-10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.Federal clerkship background preferred.Superior academic credentials.Strong writing and analytical capabilities.Experience in Electronic Discovery and federal court writing highly desirable.Valid law license in good standing. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Valid law license in good standing. Skills:Excellent legal research and analytical skills.Superior writing and communication abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Proficiency in Electronic Discovery processes is a plus.Flexibility and adaptability to handle a variety of tasks and deadlines.
