The Education Associate Attorney will serve as counsel to charter and private independent schools, demonstrating a commitment to excellence, creativity in problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail. Duties:Provide legal counsel to charter and private independent schools in education law matters.Handle litigation cases related to education, with a focus on independent and charter schools.Address legal issues pertaining to Title IX, Section 504, ADA, and other relevant Labor and Employment laws.Conduct legal research, analysis, and case strategy development.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Represent clients in depositions, discovery, and motion practice.Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective legal solutions.Stay current with developments in education law and related areas. Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Louisiana State Bar.Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.Strong background in education law, with a focus on independent and charter schools.Familiarity with Title IX, Section 504, ADA, and other relevant Labor and Employment laws.Excellent writing and analytical skills.Experience in deposition, discovery, and motion practice.Bright, hardworking, and highly motivated individual.Creative problem-solving skills with good judgment.Meticulous attention to detail. Skills:Legal research and analysis.Litigation and courtroom experience.Drafting legal documents (pleadings, motions, briefs).Knowledge of education law, specifically independent and charter schools.Familiarity with Title IX, Section 504, ADA, and related Labor and Employment laws.Excellent writing and analytical skills.Deposition, discovery, and motion practice experience.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Creative problem-solving and good judgment.
