The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.Job Duties:Prepare discovery and respond to requests (admissions, disclosures, interrogatories, orders, etc.).Attend and manage hearings, mediations, depositions, settlement conferences, and court proceedings.Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.Effectively communicate with clients and managing attorney(s) to understand client goals.Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel.Analyze, evaluate, synthesize, and research case law, statutes, regulations, and documents impacting clients.Communicate clearly and logically (orally and in writing) with regulatory agencies, courts, counsel, clients, and managing attorneys.Handle complex problems utilizing initiative, creativity, and sound professional judgment.Work both independently and as a contributing team member.Manage a caseload and meet deadlines.Manage and develop relationships with clients.Mentor support staff.Requirements:Juris Doctorate from an accredited Law School.3+ years of Litigation experience preferred.Skills:Extremely detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to multitask.Strong organizational, communication, delegation, and relationship-building skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to prioritize while meeting deadlines and demonstrating reliability and efficiency.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Must work well in a team-oriented environment.Desire to always be learning and improving.Timely and efficient work product while setting tasks/goals and following through to achieve the highest level of completion.Ability to manage caseload and work independently.
